Nirnayaaniki atoo itoo – Indraganti Janaki Bala

This book is a collection of 26 short stories written by Mrs.Indraganti Janaki Bala (Film director Indraganti Mohana Krishna’s mom). Most of the stories focus on various aspects like dowry, family relations, independence, domination etc concerning women in middle class families of our generation. Each story is unique and is a master piece. I cannot select one or two favourites among these. Liked all the stories. Simple, yet thought provoking.

Few years back I’ve read an award winning novel ‘Kanipinche gatham’ written by the same author. It’s one of my favourites.
